Sunday Afternoon…..a conversation between me and a stranger in a lift
Him: Are you staying here?
Me: Yea i am..( in my heart - Duh! Dumb question)
Him: Never seen you around here before..you new here?
Me: No, im not. It’s just that i don’t go out much.
Him: Ahh..i see. So are you married?
Me: Nope, im not married. “ in my head-Geez, what a place to pick up woman, In a LIFT! ”
Him: So can i call you and maybe we can hang out together?
Me: No, sorry i’m attached.
“Ting” lift bell rang
Me: “Relief”
Him: “Sounding sad ” Oh, ok…sorry,thank you. ” He slumped and walk out the door without even looking at me”
Me: In my head ” That man is desperate to have a girl”
Men out there-instead of sounding/acting desperate, why don’t you start with a small chat, maybe send her to her unit FLOOR ( never follow her to her house as this will scare her!) and then ask her for her number. I believe if you do it right, the “Jackpot number” will be revealed to you easily at the end of the journey. And oh..don’t sound nervous too..cos if you do..we know..trust me.
